Girl Scout Troop 1162 and others in the community will be cooking chili and soup with the items collected from the troop's community canned food drive, items the troop purchased from their cookie money profits from this past year, and donations. Girl Scout troops from Jasper will serve our community chili and soup FREE on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 4-7 p.m. at the Jasper Civic Center. All are invited to attend. The girls would like you to come out fellowship and enjoy the food. Please remember the girls will continue to collect canned foods to make chili or soup until Sunday, Nov. 22.
