UPDATE: AMBER ALERT ISSUED IN REPORTED ABDUCTION

An Amber Alert has been issued in the reported abduction of a 9 or 10-year-old boy at an eastbound I-10 rest area in Suwannee County this afternoon.

Sheriff’s officials say the boy was seen being forced into the trunk of a 2006 silver Hyundai Elantra with Florida tag number 063XLH.

The boy was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans shorts.

The abductor was a woman 5’9” in height, weighing about 160 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair.

Anyone with relevant information should call the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office at 386-362-2222.
