Live Oak —
Halloween will be a busy night for Live Oak as children participate in various Halloween activities. Some children will go door to door, some will attend a church function, and some will even go business to business in Live Oak.
The Live Oak Police Department will once again sponsor its annual candy carnival on Oct. 31, now in its fifth year. Children will have access to tons of candy and fun interactive games and booths. The PD will be shutting down White Avenue through the haunting hours from 6-9 p.m., to ensure that children have a fun and safe night.
“It’s going to be a fun-filled, interactive night for all ages,” stated Erica Elliott, director of community and victim services.
In Branford, the trick-or-treating activities will be held on Saturday night, Oct. 27 from 6-8 p.m.
