Live Oak — A hard freeze watch will be in effect from late Saturday night through early Sunday morning for Southeast Georgia and the Suwannee Valley of Northeast Florida, according to the National Weather Service.
Low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 20s late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Northwest winds will produce wind chills in the upper teens and lower 20s. A wind chill advisory will likely be issued.
Freezing temperatures will kill sensitive vegetation that is not protected.
A hard freeze watch means that temperatures less than 27 degrees are possible for at least two hours.
