BJ Garcia Run set for Saturday
The third annual BJ Garcia Running for Research Foundation run-a-thon will be held at the Branford High School Track on Saturday, April 20, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The run-a-thon is in memoriam of 18-year-old Roberto (BJ) Garcia, a 2001 graduate of Branford High School, who lost his battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia. The run-a-thon is to benefit research for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. -

A car received heavy damage after being in a wreck with an SUV at the intersection of US 129 South and CR 252. At least one person was trapped inside the vehicle until rescue arrived.
