Live Oak —
Principal of Branford High School Seth Thoreson announced Monday that Roy Harden will be the new head football coach beginning with the 2012-13 season.
Harden was the head football coach at Bell High School for the past nine years. He replaces Jason Bond whose coaching contract was not renewed after this season of two wins and eight losses.
“We are extremely excited to have coach Harden as our new head football coach, and we are looking forward to continuing the strong football traditions at BHS,” said Thoreson.
Harden is a BHS alumni, a graduate from the University of Florida and has family ties to the community, Thoreson said.
