Alltel Wireless celebrates relocation, grand opening of store in Live Oak

Alltel Wireless, America's largest network, is excited to announce the relocation and grand opening of a retail store in Live Oak. The store, located at 10553 Suwannee Plaza Blvd., will help Alltel Wireless meet growing customer demand for wireless communication services and will provide an additional location for purchasing wireless phones, services and accessories. The store was previously located at 6830 Suwannee Plaza Lane.

The two-day grand opening celebration took place on Nov. 15 and 16.

The retail store, managed by Richard Francis, allows residents to sample Alltel's extensive array of applications including Alltel Voice2TXT, a feature that quickly converts incoming voicemails to text messages in the customer's inbox; and Alltel TV, allowing customers to watch over 25 available channels right on their handsets.

"The Suwannee County area is a thriving market for Alltel Wireless, and we have responded to customer demand with the grand opening of this store," said Brian Harkey, vice president of retail services for Florida. "We invite residents to get a first-hand look at all of Alltel's innovative products and services, and we are confident that residents will be pleased with the convenient location, store amenities and customer service."

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday. The store can be reached by phone at (386) 362- 8000.
