Suwannee County Bassmasters Reorganizing

Do you have an interest in Bass fishing? Come join the Suwannee Bassmasters. The Club meets the first Thursday of each month at Huddle House in Live Oak. The meetings start at 7 p.m. and the Club then fishes the following Saturday at different area locations. Boaters and non-boaters are welcome. La Leche League of Live Oak

La Leche League of Live Oak- Meets third Thursday of every month at the Suwannee County Museum, 208 North Ohio Avenue, Live Oak, Florida.  La Leche League is an international organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breast feed. All breast feeding mothers and mothers-to-be are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breast feeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings. O’Brien Volunteer Fire Department Pancake Breakfast and Fund Raiser

2nd Saturday of each month. $3 donation, 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, and orange juice, tea, hot cocoa or coffee.Time: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Where: O’Brien Station, 10121 N. CR 349, O’Brien. Funds will be used to purchase equipment and maintenance.

The Suwannee County Republican Executive Committee meets in the council chambers of Live Oak City Hall at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. Social Sewing Club: New Member Recruitment

Homeless Services Network of Suwannee Valley - second Tuesday, 4 p.m. at Columbia County Public Library, Lake City.



 United Way of Suwannee Valley serves as the lead agency for the Homeless Services Network of Suwannee Valley, which serves the counties of Columbia, Suwannee, Lafayette and Hamilton. The network includes agencies and individuals interested in the services available to those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Agency representatives, individuals, homeless and formerly homeless, with an interest in the needs of those who are experiencing homelessness or are threatened with homelessness are encouraged to attend.

They can also provide valuable information about Medicare to persons soon to turn 65.
