Reminder: Wild Blackberry Festival this weekend in Jasper

First ever masquerade ball is tonight

Jasper — The 2nd Annual Wild Blackberry Festival will be held this Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Heritage Village in downtown Jasper. 
Come enjoy fresh home grown blackberries, blackberry pancake breakfast and take a blackberry plant or two home with you.

There will also be a bake-off contest, parade, live entertainment, karaoke with Teddy MacElvis children’s games, arts and crafts and much more.

Bring your own lawn chair or blanket for the live entertainment.

There will also be a $50 and $100 cash drawing, but you must be present to win.

Tonight is the first ever Wild Blackberry Masquerade Ball, sponsored by the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce. The theme is Mardi Gras.

The event will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Telford Inn in White Springs. Contact Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce at 386-792-1300 for information. Tickets $30 each or $50 per couple.
