Live Oak —
Melody Church announces their first annual “Egg Drop”. The event will be on March 30. Thirty thousand plastic filled easter eggs will be dropped from a helicopter on to Melody Christian Academy’s soccer field. Children ages 0-10 including those with special needs are invited to come and experience an Easter Egg hunt like never before in Suwannee County.
Along with the egg drop, they will also offer other childrens activities such as bounce houses and a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny.
Melody Church is coordinating the event and has purchased the eggs and candy.
Currently they are looking for other business sponsors and community partners to donate funds to cover the cost of the helicopter and other activities. Volunteers are also needed to help the day of the event.
“Our vision is to bring the community together and have a good time,” Pastor Darrin Baldwin said.
Melody Church invites families of Suwannee County and surrounding areas to join them on March 30 at 10:30 a.m. for this fun family event. For more information contact their church office or follow them on facebook at facebook.com/melodychurchliveoak or visit their website at melodychurch.com.
Pastor Darrin Baldwin envisions Egg Drop to be an annual event.
