We are a Limited Space Shelter (no kill). You must check with us prior to bringing a drop-off animal to the shelter. Hours; Tues. - Sat. 10:00 to 2:00, or by appointment. We service the surrounding counties of Madison, Suwannee, Hamilton, Lafayette, Columbia and Taylor. We do not pick up animals.
We now have a Face Book page. Come check us out and fine out what’s going on. Go to Suwannee Valley Humane Society Animal Shelter. Friends of the animals donated the page. We thank them very much.
THRIFT STORE:
You must come see our thrift stores. We have three stores, a boutique, clothing and furniture. We are always looking for donations for the stores. Please keep us in mind if you have items in good condition you would like to donate to us.
RECYCLING:
We have a recycling bin on our property newspapers, magazines, and catalogs. The bin will take all kinds of paper. We also have a bin in Live Oak at 305 Pinewood Drive, next to Johnson’s Appliance/Radio Shack. We also collect aluminum cans to recycle. Just bring them to the shelter. All the money goes to help the homeless animals.
Our adoption is $65.00 which INCLUDES, spay/neuter, wormed, boost- shots, heartworm/feline leukemia tested, micro chips, and rabies shot (if old enough). We also a Diamond in the Ruff program, ask about it. Come visit us, our animals would love to meet you. Our cats are on special for $30.00

ON NOVEMBER 12 – We have a free cat day!!!! A micro-chip and a cat carrier will be extra. The cat must be 6 months or older. Call for more information.

#4137 – Dorothy – she is 9 ½ mo.; she is a Shepard mix. Her weight is 34.6#. She can be a good watch dog and would love a nice yard.
#4188- Jake – He found a home!
#4044 – Bruce – he is 1 yr. 8mo. Old. He loves to play and likes water since he is part Lab. He wants a yard to play in!
CATS:
We know that there are cats every where you look but our cats have had their shots, been tested for fel. Lek., wormed and spay or neutered. You can’t get a better deal! Come see us. See the above notice on November 12.
We have every color, size and shape that you might want. The only color we don’t have is solid grey. We have lowered our adoption fee to $30. They have been fel. Tested, have their shots and have been spayed or neutered. You must come see them.
