White Springs —
The 24th Annual Antique Tractor and Engine Show held April 5, 6 and 7 brought thousands of visitors out to Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park. The show was sponsored by the Tractor Show Committee, the Erixton family, Stephen Foster Citizen's Support Organization, the town of White Springs and the entire staff of Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park and Big Shoals State Park. A special thank you goes out to Claude and Sandra Starling for their immeasurable help in organizing the event.
The schedule of events spanning the three days was extensive and included exhibits, demonstrations, tractor pulls and races, children’s games and contests, and an antique car show, along with an assortment of foods and crafts, and ending with an antique tractor parade.
