A young woman who died in a house fire at 6671 NW 27th Blvd. in Jennings on Saturday, Dec. 10, has not been positively identified by the medical examiner, according to Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid. He said, "We are fairly certain that she is Karen Alice Ungerer, but we are still waiting on the results of the DNA tests."
Glenn A. Sessa, who lived at the same address, was arrested the same day on a warrant from Volusia County and questioned about the fire, Sheriff Reid said. He added that they don't know if foul play is involved and they are waiting for the toxicology report.
Detective Carl Morgan at the State Fire Marshall's office said that the fire is under investigation and no other information can be released at this time.
