Lady Trojans not giving up!
Although North Florida Christian Academy and Union County were successful in defeating the Hamilton volleyball team last week, the Lady Trojans refuse to give up!
Coach Hannah Perez said, “Union County is a solid team with a lot of experience. Although our girls lost I’ve never been more satisfied with how they played; even in the match won over Jefferson. If this is a preview of how they can play the rest of the season and into next year, be looking for a winning team!”
Captain Jasmine Dobson led in service points with seven. MiKayla Byrd and Emily Carter followed, each with six points.
On a personal note, I’ve watched these girls play for a few weeks and I’ve never seen them play with more excitement. Put that together with skills they are learning and the confidence they are building and you’ve got yourself a team!
The Lady Trojans will be traveling to Tallahassee this week to meet McClay, but we’d like to see all their fans at the next home game on October 15 against rival Suwannee County.
Thanks again for your support. It means a lot to the team.
