Lady Trojans fall to Suwannee and Madison

After another week of losses to both Suwannee and Madison Counties, the Lady Trojans Volleyball Team is still fighting.

According to school record, their win over Jefferson was the first since the '07-'08 season. This team is not losing heart!

"It's the little things that are hurting us. As a whole, the team continues to improve. If the girls will just keep their feet moving and cover all areas of the court, it will greatly strengthen our chances for victory", said Coach Hannah Perez.

Service point leaders for the Lady Trojans were MiKayla Byrd and Blake Daniels with five each. Jasmine Dobson and Paige Fenneman followed with four each and with three each were Emily Carter and Rebecca Hunter. Of all service points, seven were aces.

The Lady Trojans will host Union County Thursday, October 1, at 5:00 p.m. in a previously unscheduled game. On Tuesday, October 6 they will host Jefferson County.

As always, thank you for continuing to support our lady athletes.
