Suwannee County Goes Wet
I hope all the folks who voted for Suwannee County to go wet are happy especially those at the Suwannee Democrat. I wonder how much money/kickbacks/promises of services the folks at the Democrat received forpromoting the election.
It is a sad day indeed when a newspaper comes out in support of a wet/dry election. Surely, there are more important issues that are worthwhile to address. (Oh, these issues might not put money in the coffers of the Democrat!)
The action by the folks who voted "wet" puts another nail in the coffin forSuwannee's young people- Suwannee County has had/maybe still does, one of the highest drop out rates in the State of Florida when it comes to education.
What a stupid choice!
