Local insurance agent Donald Eugene Bullock was sentenced today to the terms of a plea deal outlined last month in a hearing presided over by Circuit Judge David Fina.

In line with the terms of his plea, Bullock is required to pay more than $300,000 in restitution and serve 15 years’ probation.

Bullock's charges included grand theft; felony fraud and cheating; felony insurance fraud and presenting false claims. Adjudication of guilt was withheld.

Bullock took money from customers and failed in some cases to purchase policies for them.
