A man attempted to rob the S&S; store in McAlpin shortly after 2:30 p.m. today, Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron said.
Reports remain sketchy, but it appears that one male subject walked into the store and told the clerk he had a handgun, though a weapon was never displayed.
Details of the attempted robbery are unclear.
Law enforcement are on the lookout for a blue pick-up truck with license plate number 448PMY. Details as they become available.
