Videos: Suwannee High School in state weightlifting competition

Live Oak — Suwannee High School senior weightlifter David Pettey competes in the 183 pound weight class at the 1A State Competition in Kissimmee on April 20. He placed eighth in the 1A State 183 pound weight division. His total score was 565. Pettey benched 310 pounds and lifted 255 pounds in the clean and jerk.

 

Sophomore Eric Walker competes does the clean and jerk, lifting 190 pounds, at the 1A State Competition in Kissimmee on April 20. Walker placed 15th in the 1A State Competition in the 139 pound weight class. His total score was 420 pounds. His max bench press was 230 pounds.
