Live Oak —
Suwannee Water Management when are you going to act responsible instead of irresponsible? You are behaving like our president. in a couple years everyone will have to redrill their wells at $2,000 each, and the water will be more contaminated. Wise up!?
****
It appears that withdrawing & refiling the dump application was a mere ploy to avoid facing hundreds of tax paying citizens in a public forum. A stunt congress would be proud of ! Did the commision collude with this? Residents should take this as an insult to our intelligence.
****
Taxpayers go look at your new commission building this mess up by Joe will cost us taxpayers thousands. Take a look!
****
One can't help but notice that the worse the language skills, the more narrow minded the opinions. Imagine that!
****
The palm trees are simply atrocious. Can't we give them back to whomever gave them to us? Has anyone considered the root damage that will tear-up the sidewalks? I can't wait for all of the lovely palmetto bugs crawling around the entire City. This was a terrible, terrible idea.
****
The gentleman that runs the solid waste station at Suwannee Springs does a superb job. He is always at his post on time and keeps the area clean in spite of frequent, reckless abuse by afterhours dumping made by inconsiderate people that are too lazy to carry their trash to the dumpster. This leaves the attendant a horrible mess to clean up most times when he returns to his post after a day off. Shame on you schmucks for not being better neighbors! I would think that the county may be better served by purchasing video cameras to get pictures of license tags and bring this practice to a halt.
****
I think everybody at the Water Management District ought to be fired because they let the JEA come in here to get our water. Our water table’s bad enough as it is people having to drill their wells deeper. That’s about like that landfill deal it needs to be discarded too. People need to wake up and realize our water table’s valuable and needs to do something about it. Don’t let the Water Management rule.
