Live Oak —
Our View next week will be published in the Wednesday, April 25 edition. That edition of Our View will be our last word on the May 8 city elections; who we recommend to City Council District 2, 3 and 5. We will also give our recommendations to the city Charter proposed amendments.
Then on Friday, April 27, The Last Word will be published. The Last Word is each candidate’s last thoughts on four questions that the editorial board of the Suwannee Democrat comprised. Each candidate fills out the questionnaire and their answers will be published then, if they so choose to answer the questions and return them to us by Monday at 12 p.m.
The editorial board decided that their recommendations be published the Wednesday prior to the week of early voting and that The Last Word be published the following Friday. This gives the electorate one more chance to read in our pages the candidates thoughts as well as those of the editorial board.
City Council Candidates
Reminder that The Last Word is due to the editor by 12 p.m. Monday or your Last Word will not be published. If you have not published your announcement, the last day it can be published is in the Wednesday, April 25 edition.
