Live Oak —
In my opinion , The trees downtown are going to look awesome when the tops fill out. I love driving through downtown, it has much charm . I am from Palm Beach County and let me say to the residents of Live Oak... You do not know how lucky you are to live here. The streets are clean,You can show up to watch a Christmas parade and be safe.Traffic here is a dream come true.Your teachers care.. It is not just a paycheck.You do not have hoards of homeless ppeople on every corner,under every overpass,If I need something late I can run to Walmart without fear of my purse getting snatched. Every town has its faults,but I think all in all the people of Live Oak should be proud, It truly is a very nice place to call Home. And yes " Merry Christmas" To All.

I was honored to attend the Suwannee Primary Christmas Program this past week. While the children and Mr. Crews as well as Ms. Baker did an absolutely wonderful job, the parents should have taken a lesson from the children they were there to see and hear. I was unable to hear most of the songs because of the loud conversation going on around me. It is a shame that they all work so hard and there was not enough respect to simply listen rather than talk.

I know someone who received a report of a stolen air conditioner and is still conducting the investigation. If you feel it is so easy to find the thieves, I am sure they will welcome your tip.
I agree with you that it is disgraceful we cannot live in society without predators always lurking in the shadows. How about instead of ranting, take the time to form a neighborhood watch, and assist the local law enforcement that you "Pay". I am proud of our Deputies and the hard work they perform, and I feel we have got a bargain considering what we pay them. You do realize that a Grader Driver makes more than a Deputy, and has better hours.

Suwannee County Schools- Why is it that the football, volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball players that play for the school district can be excused on game days from Physical Education classes BUT the kids that play sports for Rec Dept or do other activities are not excused?? This is not right...they get to sit and watch the other kids do exercises and run. I think they should have to participate just like the other kids do!!

Once again King Jesse wastes the tax payer’s time and resources badgering Randy Harris in a public meeting. It’s almost as if King Jesse has too much time on his hands. The County has a solid Public Works Director in Randy Harris and Jesse simply needs to get out of his way and let him do his job!
