Live Oak — A 49-year-old Glen St. Mary man that crashed his 2005 Dodge Ram truck Saturday afternoon on CR 137 in Suwannee County, just south of I-10, was previously involved in a hit and run crash on I-10 in Columbia County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
According to FHP, William Leland Curry was driving his Dodge southbound on CR 137 around 12:23 p.m. Saturday, about .3 miles south of I-10, when he approached a curve to the left. The Dodge veered to the right and drove off the roadway and down into the western grassy ditch. The Dodge continued driving around the curve through the ditch before swerving back to the left and back onto the roadway. The Dodge then rotated to the left in a counter clockwise direction. The Dodge rotated 360 degrees as it slid across CR 137 in a southwesterly direction and overturned to the right once before coming to a final rest on its wheels.
FHP reported that the Dodge was involved in a hit and run crash on I-10 in Columbia County prior to this crash.
Charges are pending, FHP reported.
Curry was not wearing a seatbelt, according to FHP, and suffered serious injuries
