Lavaughn Arthur Sessions, age 95, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 5, 1917 in McAlpin, Fla., to Thomas J. Sessions & Evelyn Starling Sessions. Mr. Sessions was a former Suwannee County Clerk of Court for 12 years, former Suwannee County Commissioner, a former Mayor of Branford and a former Mayor of Trenton. He was a business owner, a farmer, a member of the Mason’s, the Shriner’s, Woodmen of the World and Priscilla Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Evelyn Sessions, 3 sisters: Ernestine White, Celeste Sessions and Edna Mobley, and his son-in-law, Wilbur Bush.  
He is survived by his wife, Emily Barnett Sessions of Trenton, Fla., a daughter, Betty Bush of Trenton, Fla., 2 sons: Lloyd (Jamie) Sessions of Huntsville, AL., and Thomas A. (Charlotte) Sessions of Branford, Fla., 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Priscilla Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Black officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Watson Funeral Home.

Henry Odell McCutchin, of Live Oak, passed away Feb. 3, 2013 at the Haven Hospice Center, following a extended illness. Funeral services will be Feb. 9, 2013 at 3 p.m., at the Sweet Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with the Interment to follow in the Beulah Hill Cemetery. Mr. McCutchin will be placed in the church on Saturday at 12:30 p.m., to lie in state until the funeral hour. Final rites entrusted to: Trinity Funeral Home of Perry, Inc. (850)584-9620, Anthony M.
