Live Oak —
Two vehicles were involved in a collision in eastern Suwannee County Monday night.
A silver-grey Mercury Milan and a white Ford F150 truck collided at the intersection of CR 137 and US 90 East around 5:45 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol and Suwannee County Sheriff personnel were deployed to the scene. Also deployed were Suwannee County Fire/Rescue as well as Wellborn Fire/Rescue units. The scene was quickly secured and both automobiles were removed from both road and highway. No details were given at the scene.

FWC visits with gator
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officer D. Mobley stopped by the Democrat offices Wednesday afternoon with this alligator that he had just caught in a Hamilton County pond. Mobley will be showing another alligator to students at Suwannee Primary School on Thursday along with other wildlife as part of an FWC event.
