Video: Strumming a guitar like nobody's business

Mayo — Dairy farmer Everett Kerby was born and raised in Lafayette County and he can do more with his hands than milk a cow. He can strum a guitar like nobody's business and sing like a country star.

Kerby is a 1970 graduate of Lafayette High School and a former FFA member. He has played in several bands in his lifetime and has entertained at the Pioneer Days event in the town of Mayo. Kerby also sings and plays at Airline Baptist Church in Mayo.

When asked how he was able to remember all the words to this Hank Snow favorite, "I've Been Everywhere", Kerby replied, "You learn this stuff when you're young, so you don't forget some of it. When you get older, it's hard to remember."
