Live Oak —
No students were on board in Monday morning’s bus crash on CR 252, about .2 miles east of 135th Road, and no injuries were reported, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to FHP, a 2003 Ford Expedition, driven by April Denslow, 33, Live Oak, was traveling eastbound on CR 252 around 6:25 a.m. A 2011 Thomas school bus, driven by Janice Floyd Thompson, 33, of McAlpin, was traveling westbound on CR 252. As the two vehicles began to pass one another, the left side mirrors of the vehicles struck one another.
Thompson was not injured, according to FHP.
Neither Denslow or her passengers, Wayne A. Morgan, 33, Live Oak, and three kids ages 2, 4 and 8, received injuries.
All were wearing seat belts.
