On Sunday, October 18, 2009, I had finished mowing my lawn, I felt like having a beer, not having one for a month. Of course I couldn't get any in Suwannee County, so I drove over to the other side of Wellborn to the S&S; station in Columbia County, I got the beer and while I was there, I filled up my car with gas. The money I spent there should have been spent where I live, in Suwannee County. I have lived in Suwannee County for 3 years. About the only good thing I can say about it is that it can always be used as a bad example.

Hey, everyone - Be sure to wear you 'illegal alien' costume - The costume features the mask of an alien with a green card and an orange jumpsuit with "illegal alien" written across the front. It can be purchased at Target stores - for Halloween! Give the immigration police a fit!

Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, is sweeping up people who are illegally in this country. What are the sheriffs in north-central Florida doing about those who are illegally in this country and living within their jurisdictions????

We need new recycle bins at the dump at the southern end of the county next to the volunteer fire department. I went there today and the tin can one was just rolled over on the side. How can we help our country and the, well, anyway, we need recycle bins bad.

I fully agree with the Mayor's decision not to nominate a councilman who intends to run in May. That would clearly give this individual an unfair advantage. Anyone that thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. Stick to your guns Mayor. We support you!

I call upon all Americans to tell our President we are dissatisfied with the lack of policy to stop companies who owe us bailout money from giving outrageous bonuses. I thought you pay back the loans that you owe before you spend your money. The repayment of bailout money would finance his health program. The president says he will fix the problem. So where is the fix? Its business as usual. I call for the recall of this administration.

This is to the city of Live Oak. Wondering what's next with the drainage pond that they call Lake Mary? Someone needs to lay claim to it and I think it's the city's job. Now who's going to keep it clean? The smell the past two weeks has gotten to everyone around it and then some. Lake Mary could look nice if someone would take the responsible, but the city wants to put it on someone else. Come on city of Live Oak make a move. You keep wanting to beautify Live Oak. Start with Lake Mary. It's been a long time coming.

I would just like to say that the emergency station on 80th Terrace looks nice with their brand new flagpole and the landscaping, and they have a nice new sign out there. Now if we could just get our county commissioner from District 1 to do something with the road, it would even look better.
