The Bulldogs traveled to Jacksonville Friday night where they lost 28-7 to the Ribault Trojans.
The Bulldogs scored first following a Ribault turnover. Greg Swinson ran it in for a one-yard touchdown. The point after by Austin O'Connor made it 7-0 Suwannee.
The Trojans answered with a 20-yard touchdown pass.
The score was tied until the beginning of the second quarter when the Trojans scored following an Xavier Perry fumble. The Trojans scored again with about three minutes left in the half.
The 'Dogs went into the second half trailing 21-7.
Greg Swinson ran the ball three times for eight yards early in the third and J.R. Bass gained eight yards on two carries before a fumble by Andre Zanders
gave the ball back to the Trojans.
On Suwannee's next possession, Taylor lost five yards after a sack and Bass picked up one yard. A penalty for having an extra player on the field by the Trojans ended the third quarter.
With only seconds gone in the fourth quarter the Trojans scored their final touchdown of the night on a 34-yard pass.
The 'Dogs fall to 3-4, 1-2 in District 2-2A.
