Area road and lane closures, Oct. 31-Nov. 6

COLUMBIA COUNTY
Lake Jeffery Road (County Road 250)
Daytime lane closures between the Suwannee County line and the Interstate 75 overpass after 8:30 a.m. while crews place the asphalt on the outside edges of the existing pavement in order to widen the lanes from 10-feet to 12-feet and work on the drainage pipes. The road surface will remain milled for a few weeks.
State Road 47
Daytime lane closures Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. about a mile south of Interstate 75 to pave the new southbound left turn lane into a new Dollar General store being constructed.
DIXIE COUNTY
County Road 55A
Daytime lane closures between County Road 349 and Glenn Drive (Southeast 1875th Street) in order to add a 4-foot bike lane and 5-foot wide sidewalk for Old Town Elementary School students.
County Road 351
Daytime lane closures from Jones Street to County Road 351A in Cross City to add 4-foot bike lanes and 5-foot wide sidewalk for Anderson Elementary and Ruth Rains Middle School students.
