Four people were arrested Saturday and charged with trafficking methamphetamine at a home in Branford, according to Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron.
Deputies arrived at the home of Robert Minor, 4141 282 Terrace in Branford, and discovered him, along with three others, Daniel Wayne Akes, of White Springs, Cammie Wynett Tucker and Billy Jack Tucker both of Obrien in the process of "cooking meth," said Cameron.
As authorities approached, siblings Cammie and Billy Tucker "ran off into the woods," Cameron said. Tracking dogs were used to locate and apprehend the pair.
Meanwhile, Minor and Akes reportedly attempted to hide inside the home, but were also located by authorities.
Altogether, deputies discovered 56 grams of methamphetamine at the Minor residence, Cameron said.
The four suspects were each arrested and charged with trafficking more than 28 grams of meth (less than 200 grams) and manufacturing a controlled substance. In addition, Cammie Tucker was charged with possession of controlled substance without a prescription.
