What are we thankful for this holiday season at the Suwannee Democrat? Plenty. Here's a rundown of just a few of this things for which we're grateful.
Our nation.
America invented democracy as we know it. Other folks had the idea first, but it took our fierce ingenuity to make it work on a practical level.
Our nation's been a work in progress right from the start, and while we may not yet embody the ideals for which we strive, we're working like hell to get there.
God bless America.
Our county.
We live in a mobile society, and folks are more or less free to reside where they wish. We choose Suwannee, for reasons we think are obvious.
Our staff.
Democrat employees give their all, and then some, week in and week out. Thanks for your hustle, hard work and dedication.
Our customers.
By which we mean our readers, both online and in print, as well as our advertisers. Without you we wouldn't be here, and that says it all.
