Live Oak man charged with 6 counts of rape in Arkansas
A Live Oak man was arrested Tuesday on an Arkansas warrant for six counts of rape, according to Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron.
John Robert Davis, 38, of 10264 US 129 South, Live Oak, was taken into custody by SCSO deputy Ken Osborne. Davis is wanted in Grant County, Ark. for the rape charges as well as three counts of sexual assault, according to the Web site.
Further information is not available at this time. Grant County Sheriff's Det. Lt. Robert Bird said information would not be available in the matter until Davis is extradited and formally charged in Grant County.
