The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of burglaries that occurred over the last several days.
According to Sheriff Tony Cameron, Falmouth Crossing General Store and the Sandwich Shoppe on US 90 West, and the Florida Sheriff Youth Ranches Opportunity Store on US 90 East were broken into.
Cameron said various sites in the Wellborn area were burglarized as well.
Authorities did not reveal what was stolen.
Cameron did not believe the burglaries were related to those that have occurred recently in the city of Live Oak.
"With the economy being down, thefts increase and I ask that the citizens of Suwannee County become the eyes and ears of the sheriff's office to keep an eye on their neighbors' property and notify the sheriff's office of any suspected illegal activity," Cameron said.
