SUWANNEE COUNTY
State Road 136
Daytime lane closures from west of Interstate 75 to the Columbia County line to allow inmate crews to repaint the roadway markings.
State Road 247
Around the clock lane closure at the site of a pavement failure just south of the Columbia County. Also, daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. to build a new sidewalk north of U.S. 129 in Branford and for crews to work on widening the shoulders in preparation for paving.

Daytime lane closures north of Branford to McAlpin as crews finish laying sod along the outside shoulders of the roadway. Also, crews are finishing up on the new wheelchair-accessible ramps at side street intersections in Branford from U.S. 27 to the northern city limits which require the outside lane to be closed. The final layer of asphalt is expected to start being placed November 10.
HAMILTON COUNTY:
U.S. 41
The road will be closed in White Springs on Wednesday from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. for a Veterans Day parade. White Springs Police Department will be detouring traffic.

The road will be closed in Jasper Friday, November 7 from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. in for the Hamilton County High School homecoming parade. Jasper Police will be detouring traffic.
COLUMBIA COUNTY
Interstate 75
Lane closures for two of the northbound lanes (weather permitting) two miles north of the Ellisville exit (Exit 414) to resurface the center lane on between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. tentatively scheduled for Thursday night. Only one lane will be open to traffic. This work was postponed from this past week due to cold temperatures and once the forecast is known Monday, a decision will be made on which night the work will be done. It must be 60 degrees and rising to place this high-traffic type of asphalt.
Marion Avenue (U.S. 441)
The road will be totally closed in Lake City on Friday, November 7 from 2-5 p.m. for the Columbia High School homecoming parade. Lake City Police will be detouring traffic.
Southwest Little Road
The road is totally closed at the Rose Creek Bridge for the next six months to replace the bridge. All through traffic is detoured to Southwest Walter Avenue.

Daytime lane closures from U.S. 90 to the Union County line to allow inmate crews to repaint the roadway markings.
U.S. 90 West
Possible daytime lane closures or lane shifts on Monday from Lake City Avenue to just east of Turner Road/Pinemount Road to pave where the new turn lanes have been added into Southwest Stonegate Terrace and the Shops at Heritage Oaks.

A Suwannee County fifth grader mesmerized students, parents and faculty during the Suwannee Intermediate School Spring Talent Show Thursday evening.
Brittanie Powell performed “I Will Always Love You” which was immortalized by the late Whitney Houston. It was Brittanie’s first performance and she selected the song a few weeks ago after watching a contestant perform it on American Idol. -
