A body found in the woods near a Mayo convenience store has been identified, sheriff’s officials said. The body of Robert Rhodes, 38, of Lafayette County, was discovered at about 4 p.m. Thursday in the woods near the L & R General Store on State Road 51 just north of Mayo, officials said.
More information will be available pending a medical examiner’s report. However, foul play is not suspected at this time.
