A Live Oak man who allegedly threw a bicycle through the rear window of his live-in girlfriend’s car, showering the three children inside with glass, was arrested and booked into the Suwannee County Jail Saturday. Daniel Heredia, 32, of 8475 Gold Kist Blvd., was charged with throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.
According to sheriff’s reports, the girlfriend, her three children and a friend were attempting to leave her and Heredia’s residence, against the wishes of Heredia, when he threw the bicycle.
Heredia has been released on bond.
Woman wields knife, kicks deputy, police say
A Wellborn woman was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
Shelly Brigette Seymour, 20, 5592 Bulb Farm Rd., was booked into the Suwannee County jail, where she remained as of Monday.
According to sheriff’s reports, Seymour struck a man with a phone she threw at him, then got a knife and tried to cut him. She also allegedly struck the man’s vehicle with a chair several times. Seymour allegedly resisted arrest, kicking a law enforcement officer in the stomach.
Cocaine charges land local man in jail
A Live Oak man was arrested on drug charges Friday for offenses allegedly committed in February. Arthur Jerry Shuler, 50, of 1216 Douglas St., was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, and sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a licenses child care facility.
Shuler allegedly sold crack cocaine to a police informant who later identified him in a lineup. The Suwannee County Drug Task Force conducted the operation

Brittanie Powell performed “I Will Always Love You” which was immortalized by the late Whitney Houston. It was Brittanie’s first performance and she selected the song a few weeks ago after watching a contestant perform it on American Idol. -
