Attempted armed robbery suspect Stephen McGee was arrested today by Lafayette County sheriff’s deputy Randy Henderson, according to sheriff’s reports. McGee, know by the local sheriff's office as "white meat," which is also tattooed across his neck, has been pursued by Columbia and Suwannee County authorities for several years. He is wanted for attempted armed robbery of a residence and/or automobile. McGee is also wanted for violation of probation. He was arrested by Henderson this morning on Appaloosa Road.
