Live Oak — Cephus Henry



July 28, 1923 - Feb. 7, 2012



Cephus Henry, 88, Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. The Swainsboro, Ga. native was a Pentecostal Pastor for many years, serving churches in Apopka, Fla. and Midville, Ga. He was also a WWII veteran while serving in the Army, where he received the Purple Heart.

Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 10 years: Carolyn Henry, Live Oak, Fla.; sister: Addie Lee Peebles and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Randolph Henry and Rayburn Henry.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Earl Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.

Mother Ollie Mae Robinson Livingston



Aug. 02, 1932 -  Feb. 7, 2012



Ollie Mae Robinson Livingston, age 79, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 06, 2012. Ollie Mae was born in Quitman, Georgia to the late James and Marie Robinson. She was a lifelong resident of Suwannee County. She married Grant Livingston on Aug. 20, 1957. To that union eight children were born. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and joined Beulah Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children; Willie (Thelma) Ford, Live Oak, Fla.; Betty Smith, Bennie Brown, Jacksonville, Fla.; Gary (Marilyn) Livingston, Live Oak; Joann Jones, Valdosta, Ga.; Marilyn (Ratimi) Bolatina, Bobbie Jean (Edward) Hines, and Pamela Hines. Also, four sisters and one brother; Mary Gross, Bennie (David) Gross, Mamie Jordan, Corine (Early) Twiggs, and Edward Robinson, all of Live Oak; two sisters-in-law, Mary Milton and Idella Philmore, special niece Marie Gandy, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at African Baptist Church with Rev. Alex Fountain, pastor, and Rev. Jesse Gandy officiating. There will not be a wake.

Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
