A suspect has been arrested in the armed robbery of a Suwannee County convenience store Friday night, Sheriff Tony Cameron said.
The Jiffy store at West US 90 and 76th Street, or Mitchell Road, was robbed at gunpoint shortly before 9 p.m., Cameron said.
The suspect, reportedly a minor, was apprehended a short time later about 200 yards behind the store. Cameron said he used a BB or pellet gun in the robbery.
