Live Oak —
A Live Oak man was arrested Friday for possessing child pornography, according to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.
David Anthony Cline, 27, of 6831 139th Drive Live Oak, was found to have several photos of children under the age of 18 on his laptop computer; some of the photos were of the individuals fully dressed, partially dressed and nude, according to a report.
According to an SCSO report, on Nov. 27 of this year, an unnamed adult male was at the home of Cline, retrieving his daughter when he observed Cline’s laptop computer in a bedroom that had a photo of a naked child about six to nine-years-old on the screen.
The adult scrolled through other photos on the same computer and observed about “one thousand child porn photos” in files.
According to SCSO, to preserve evidence, the adult emailed some of the photos to his personal account and furnished law enforcement his account password for retrieval.
After the photos were taken by law enforcement, they were deleted from the adult’s account. Photos were taken by law enforcement to the Child Protection Team office in Gainesville and Dr. Esernio-Jenssen identified nine photos as children under the age of 18-years-old.
Cline was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
