One injured in Sunday morning wreck

Live Oak — A Mayo resident received minor injuries in an early Sunday morning traffic crash in Suwannee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to FHP, a 2004 Nissan Altima, driven by Shauna Nettles Trawick, 23, Mayo, was traveling west on US 27, west of 79th Road, around 2:15 a.m. Trawick allowed the Altima to drift to the right onto the four foot paved apron, according to FHP. Trawick steered back to the left and lost control of the Altima. The vehicle started rotating counter clockwise and traveled off the roadway onto the southernmost grassy shoulder and overturned on its roof.

Trawick, who was wearing a seatbelt, received minor injuries. Passenger Jamie Lynn Roberts, 24, of McAlpin, was also wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

Charges are pending, FHP reported.
