Beloved wife of Bradley F. Knight went to meet the Lord, January 27, 2013.  They would have been married 60 years this coming March 21.  She was a devoted mother of four daughters, Deborah (Bob) Bowles(Lebanon, OH), Betty Jo Knight(Lebanon,OH), Cindy Knight(Lake City,FL) and Teresa Knight(Lebanon,OH).  She was dedicated to her family and church, loved doing things for others and had a multitude of friends.  Originally from Lebanon, Ohio she and Brad moved to Wellborn, Florida in 1987 after his retirement.  She also leaves behind two brothers, Harrison(Mae) McNally, Charles McNally and two brothers-in-law, Gilbert (Irene) Knight and Marlin Knight. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Bradley (Paula)Poole, Mary (Philip)Scott, Bobby Bowles, Jeremy Knight, Jennifer Smith, Julia (Coby) Law, George (Dani) Byrd and Nathan Knight, 15 great grandchildren and special friends Mary Lou Bowles and Virgie O`Cain.  A memorial will be held February 9, 2013 at the Wellborn Baptist Church in Wellborn, Florida.  The service will be from 11:00 to 12:00 with a gathering of friends afterwards.

Hilda Stansel Deese

Hilda Stansel Deese, 75, a long time resident of the Wellborn area, died Tuesday the 29th of January at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Hilda was born November 3, 1937 in Wellborn, Fl to her parents Jessie Thomas Stansel and Nan Hiers Stansel. She graduted from Suwannee High School in 1955 and continued her education by attending the Massey Business School in Jacksonville, Fl.
Hilda taught pre-school at the First United Methodist Churches of Titusville, Fl and Lake City, Fl for a total of approximately 25 years. After retirement she taught Sunday school pre-school classes at the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Wellborn, Fl. Hilda loved reading, walking, home decorating, family, pets, dinner out with friends, shopping with her daughter and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a member of the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church of Wellborn.
Hilda is survived by her husband of 44 years: Charles Deese living in Wellborn, Fl, her daughter, Amy Deese ,living in Mims, Fl and her brother, Alton Stansel, Living in Lake City, Fl. She is also survived by her dog, Charley and cat, Rusty.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Mt. Beulah Baptist church, P.O. Box 1072, Live Oak, Fl 32064.
The Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, has been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am on January 31, 2013 in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the McClellan cemetery, Wellborn, Fl, immediately following funeral services. A covered dish dinner will be provided at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church fellowship hall following interment.
