TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR APRIL 20, 2010, 4:00 P.M.

CONSENT:

1.            Approve payment of invoices.

 

2.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 1409, in the amount of $6,921.00, to the City of Live Oak for reimbursement of engineering services for the Preliminary Utility Design Feasibility for the Catalyst Site project.

 

3.            Acceptance of E911 Rural County Grant, in the amount of $35,778.00, for annual maintenance of equipment for 911-Addressing Department.

 

4.            Approval of recommendation of County Attorney for payment to Swearingen & Associates, Inc., agent for Linda L. Hardy, in the amount of $11,190.19, for overbid funds from the sale of Tax Deed Application No. 1557/2006-1489.

 

5.            Approval of Subordination Agreement for Raymond B. and Katie H. Smith, SHIP Clients.

 

TIME SPECIFIC ITEMS:

6.            At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, open bids, for Re-chassis for Rescue-1 Vehicle located at Fire Rescue Department. (Bid Solicitation No. 2010-03)  (Charlie Conner, Public Safety Director)

 

7.            At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, consider approval of Supplemental Agreement No. 4 with URS Corporation, in the amount of $184,441.00, for preparation of the Master Plan and Airport Layout Update for Suwannee County Airport, and adoption of resolution authorizing the Chairman to execute the grant application to the FAA for funding of this task under the FAA AIP program.  (Bill Prange, URS Corporation)

 

 

 

8.            At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, consider request to purchase twenty-nine (29) sets of complete turn-out gear, together with ten (10) Scots air pacs.  (Terry Burgess, Chairman – Suwannee County Volunteer Fire Governing Board)

 

9.            At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, consider approval of agreement with Comfort Temp, in the amount of $338,648.00, for repair of four pipe A/C system located at the Suwannee County Jail.  (Steve Sharpless, Maintenance Director)

 

10.        At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, discussion regarding interpretation of Personnel Rules and Regulations.  (Kristie Harrison, Administrative Services Director)

 

11.        At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, discuss, with possible Board action, take actions as maybe required, resulting from Catalyst workshop held on April 15, 2010.  (Chairman Wesley Wainwright)

 

12.        At 4:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, discuss, with possible Board action, clearing of utility easements in County right-of-way.  (T. Jerry Sikes, Public Works Director)

 

13.        At 5:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, presentation of status report for the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida.  (Lisa English, Chief Professional Officer)

20.        Consider approval of agreement with Sandy and Craig Sellers, in the amount of $162.00 per month, for lease of Hangar “A-6” located at Suwannee County Airport.  (Chairman Wesley Wainwright)

 

21.        Discuss, with possible Board action, using Tourist Development Council funds for Coliseum project.  (Chairman Wesley Wainwright)

 

22.        Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement with Columbia and Hamilton Counties for creation of Florida’s Suwannee River Valley Marketing Group for the Tourist Development Council.  (Greg Scott, Parks & Recreation Director)

 

23.        Consider approval of Amendment No.1 to Agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for the Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) grant extending the completion date for the Lake Louise Boat Ramp to June 15, 2011.  (Greg Scott Parks and Recreation Director)

 

24.        Consider recommendation of Bid Review Committee in awarding of bid for Suwannee County Airport Fuel Shelter to 3 Rivers Construction Services, LLC, in the amount of $36,168.10.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2010-02)  (Mike Tyson, Deputy Clerk)

 

25.        Consider approval of certified list supplied by Tax Collector of tax certificates owned by Suwannee County that are more than two (2) years old, and determination by Board as to which certificates applications for tax deeds shall be applied for.  (Mike Tyson, Deputy Clerk)

 

26.        Consider approval of annual Service Agreement for Technical Support with TriTech Emergency Medical Systems, in the amount of $4,040.99, for billing system (ORTIVUS).  (Charlie Conner, Public Safety Director)

 

27.        Approval to submit to FDOT an invoice in the amount of $5,728.50 for FY 09/10 for the period of 07/01/2009 to 06/30/2010.  (T. Jerry Sikes, Public Works Director)
