Lafayette fugitive apprehended in

Lafayette County fugitive Chandra Lee Williamson, 29, 1680 Turlington Rd., Mayo, was apprehended by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office in Perry on Friday, July 18, according to sheriff’s reports. An anonymous tip led to her arrest, according to a spokesperson for the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Williamson was placed into the custody of LCSO and is being held in the Lafayette County jail without bond. She has been charged with violation of probation. According to an affidavit from the Lafayette County Clerk of Court’s Office, Williamson was on probation for manslaughter.
