Hornets pound Trenton, 47-12

Mayo stays unbeaten, gets first district win

The unbeaten Hornets got their first district win Friday, defeating the Trenton Tigers 47-12 in Mayo.

Hornets head coach Joey Pearson was pleased with the way his team played.

“We were happy to get our first district win versus Trenton,” Pearson said.
