CONSENT:

1.            Approve payment of invoices.

 

2.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 6 in the amount of $37,672.77 to Shine & Company, Inc. for Final Payment for installation of HVAC at Coliseum.  (FECC grant)

 

3.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 5085554 in the amount of $9,650.50 to URS Corporation for work performed for the Runway Lights, Airfield Signage and Marking Improvements project at Suwannee County Airport.  (FAA grant)

 

4.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 5565 in the amount of $27,060.80 to AK Associates for AK Elite Premier Maintenance for 911 System.

 

5.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 5601 in the amount of $8,600.00 to AK Associates for 911 Datamaster Support for 911 System.

 

6.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 5602 in the amount of $9,145.00 to AK Associates for Mapping Support for 911 System.

 

7.            Approval to advertise to fill vacant Full-Time Custodial position.

 

8.            Approval to advertise to fill vacant Casual Custodial position.

 

9.            Approval to advertise to fill vacant Collection Site Attendant position for Public Works Department.

 

10.        Approval to advertise for bids for Road Side Herbicide Spraying for Public Works Department.

 

11.        Approval to advertise to hold a public hearing to consider adoption of consider adoption of ordinance imposing an additional six (6) months moratorium on siting new solid facilities or expanding existing solid waste facilities within the geographic limits of Suwannee County.

 

12.        Approval of Railroad Reimbursement Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation and CSX Transportation, Inc. for the installation of grade crossing traffic control devices, and future maintenance and adjustment of said devices on 169th Road.

 

13.        Acceptance of E911 Rural County Grant in the amount of $51,681.80 for annual maintenance for E911 System.

 

14.        Acceptance of Warranty Deed from Richard E. Viele to Suwannee County, Florida for piece of parcel of land situated in North Hidden Oaks subdivision.

 

15.        Adoption of resolution proclaiming the Month of May 2012 as “Civility Month” in Suwannee County.

16.        At 4:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, discuss the Tentative 5-Year Work Program and on-going projects.  (Jordan Green, Florida Department of Transportation)

 

17.        At 4:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, discuss, with possible Board action, legislation regarding Septic Tank Inspections.  (Mike Mitchell, Florida Department of Health)

 

18.        At 4:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, consider approval of Final Plat of Country Crossing subdivision in District 3.  (Ronald Meeks, Planning and Zoning Director)

19.        Approve minutes of meeting held on May 1, 2012.

22.        Consider recommendation of Bid Review Committee in awarding of bid for the Construction of 129th Road to Curt’s Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,175.108.45.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2012-08)  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

23.        Discuss, with possible Board action, removal of windows at Nettie Baisden Building.  (Commissioner Clyde Fleming)

 

24.        Discuss, with possible Board action, the proposed ordinance regarding use of golf carts on public roads.  (Chairman Wesley Wainwright)

 

25.        Appointment of two (2) county commissioners, as members, one (1) county commissioner, as alternate, and two (2) citizens to serve on the Value Adjustment Board.  (Chairman Wesley Wainwright)
