CONSENT:

1.            Approve payment of invoices.

 

2.            Approve payment of Invoice No. 3, in the amount of $32,804.76, to GRG Building & Contracting for work performed on the Luraville Volunteer Fire Station.

 

3.            Appointment of Brantly W. Helventson, IV, to fill the term of Mrs. Zoe Townsend, on the Suwannee County Historical Commission.

 

REGULAR BUSINESS:

4.            Approve minutes of meeting held on August 3, 2010.

 

5.            Constitutional Officers’ Reports.

 

6.            Staff Reports.

GENERAL BUSINESS:

8.            Discuss, with possible Board action, resolution by the Suwannee County School Board for voting initiative regarding ad valorem tax millage for the Suwannee County School District.  (Vicky Music, Suwannee County School Board)

 

9.            Consider approval of Certification sheets and Certification for Regulatory Reform Activities sheets for the S.H.I.P. Annual Report.  (Matt Pearson, Suwannee River Economic Council, Inc.)

 

10.        Permission to apply for a Department of Environment Protection’s Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) grant in the amount of $200,000.00 for the development of Soccer Complex.  (Greg Scott, Parks and Recreation Director)

 

11.        Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement with the North Central Florida Hazmat/Response Team for the transfer of a Response Trailer to Suwannee County Fire Rescue.  (Charlie Conner, Public Safety Director)

 

12.        Discuss, with possible Board action, benefits for part-time employees that have been employed with Suwannee County for ten (10) or more years.  (Joe Gerrity, Jr., County Coordinator)

 

13.        Consider adoption of resolution adopting the Suwannee County Personnel Rules and Regulations as revised and amended.  (Joe Gerrity, Jr., County Coordinator)

 

14.        Public Concerns and Comments.  (Come forward to podium – limit comments to five minutes.)
