Live Oak — David Clement

H. David Clement passed away in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, Ca on Aug. 26, 2012 after a short illness. His parents and sister were with him. Having accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he is with Him now. A private family burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 in the Live Oak Cemetery followed by an 12 noon memorial service at the First Baptist Church of Dowling Park, Dowling Park, Fla. David was born May 14, 1963 in Wilmington, Del. He graduated from Wilmington Christian School , Wilmington, Del. in 1981 and from Messiah Christian College in Grantham, Pa. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1985. Over the years he was employed by companies in New York City, NY; Orlando, Fla.; West Palm, Fla. and Los Angeles, Ca. He was a media planner for an advertising agency located in New York City, NY. In Orlando, Fla. he also worked for an advertising agency and then confounded an advertising agency there. In West Palm Beach, Fla. he was the marketing director for a statewide security firm. For the last five years he was employed by a Los Angeles Corporation as an accountant, accounting director and finally as their controller. David is survived by his parents: Earl and Carmeta Clement of Dowling Park, Fla.; one sister: Lesley Kelley of New Port Richey, Fla.; one brother: Larry Clement, Junior of Chicago, Il.; four nephews; Joshua Madden of Oklahoma City, Ok, Jonathan Madden and Chuckie Madden of New Port Richey, Fla.; Larry Clement, III of Los Angels, Ca; one niece Christina DeSilva of Jacksonville, Fla.; three great-nephews and five great-nieces. In lieu of flowers , the family requests gifts be made to the Advent Christian Village, Dowling Park, Fla. Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Live Oak and Branford, Fla. in charge of arrangements.

Janet Elizabeth Cory, 28, of Jennings, Fla. passed away sud-

    denly on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. Janet was born and raised in the Live Oak area. She graduated from Suwannee High School and enjoyed being a mother to her two children. She attended Corinth Baptist Church, Jennings, Fla. Janet is survived by her husband: Eric Embry; daughter: Gracelyn Cory-Lee; son: Paxton Embry; mother: Glenda & Carter Morgan; father: George W. & Lenny Cory, IV; brother: George W. Cory, V; grandparents: Glendora Peterson, Leroy Hunter, Ann A. Cory; a host of other family and friends. Services for Janet Cory will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak, FL with Rev. Gary Abbott officiating.
