Johnny Gallahar, 67, McAlpin, Fla. passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 after a long illness. The Anniston, Ala. native moved to McAlpin sixteen years ago from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and was affiliated with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, McAlpin, Fla.

He is survived by his daughter: Angel Rode, Wellborn, Fla.; stepdaughter: Hollie Knight, Stuart, Fla.; son: John Gallahar, Wellborn, Fla.; stepson: Rick Spitler, Margate, Fla.; two sisters: Charlotte Herron, McAlpin, Fla., Judy Noel, McAlpin, Fla. and three grandchildren.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.

Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. Live Oak is in charge of all arrangements.
